"Parents are the First Line of Defense"
At the heart of Enough Is Enough's mission is to provide continuous, up-to-date public awareness and education on Internet safety for children and families. Parental education is the first step to empowering households across America with Internet safety awareness and simple easy-to-implement preventative measures. Parents and guardians are often unaware of the pervasiveness and intrusive nature of the dangers that exist on the Internet, leaving many children exposed to online pornography and sexual predators who are waiting to exploit their innocence. EIE teaches that the most effective safety model in protecting children from online dangers includes the combined use of safety rules and software tools. By implementing EIE's Rules 'N ToolsSM guidelines, children and families can be better protected. All caregivers of children--including parents, teachers, and librarians--need to be part of the solution.
