Mark Gilman is a highly skilled public relations, marketing and media executive with more than 20 years of experience in directing business communication strategy and implementation. A well-known and respected professional in Michigan and across the country, Mr. Gilman is especially proficient in aligning a company's business needs and client targets to marketing and public relations initiatives. His areas of expertise include media relations, marketing, business development, crisis communications, event management, media training, among others.
He is currently the president of Decus Communications in Auburn Hills, Michigan, a marketing and public relations consulting and business group serving medium sized businesses, non-profits, schools, and event management companies. Decus currently manages a portfolio of 13 companies ranging from law firms and national event companies to retail and automotive suppliers.
He has also worked as a senior account manager with Clear! Blue Communications, the director of marketing and communications at Raymond & Prokop, P.C., a director of EDS Global Industry Relations, and as the communications director for Safe Streets Alliance.
Mr. Gilman graduated from the School of Journalism at Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire, as well as the Defense Information School in Indianapolis, Indiana.
