Enough Is Enough Advisory Board:
Business & Strategic Planning

Gayle Miller

Currently, Gayle Miller is using her business background to help achieve her passion of reaching and supporting inner-city children. Since retiring from her business career, she has spent 12 years working with school reform groups in the Los Angeles area. As a result, several Board Members from two prominent groups, in the civic community, The Annenberg Los Angeles Metropolitan Project, and The Learn School Reform Group, joined together to form a charter school operating organization. Since 2004 they have opened seven high schools with several more middle and high schools planned to open soon. She also sits on three other boards that develop programs for the parents in these same inner city communities.

Her most recent business experience was with Anne Klein Company, a sportswear manufacturing company where she spent 20 years, retiring as President of the Anne Klein 11 division which generated sales of $160M annually. Prior to that, she worked in various phases of the retailing, wholesaling and manufacturing businesses, including 10 years as buyer for several designer retail stores. She also managed several divisions for companies concentrating on design, marketing and production.
