Jeff Skeen is the President/CEO and founding partner of Titan Fitness which owns and operates 17 health clubs, under the Fitness Connection brand, located in North Carolina, Texas and Nevada which has 1,200 employees. Titan is backed by a $500 million private equity fund and plans to acquire and open a total of 60 locations in the next 5 years.
In 1992, Jeff Skeen became a partner and CFO for the G Group in Fairfax, VA, which owned and operated a single Gold's Gym. Over the next six years, he and his partners grew the franchise to 11 locations in four states and became the largest and most profitable Gold's Gym chain in the world. In 1998, the G Group hired PricewaterhouseCoopers to help secure capital to purchase Gold's Gym Enterprises, now known as Gold's Gym International (GGI), which has over 700 locations world-wide. As a principal and CIO of GGI, Skeen designed and implemented the Gold's Gym Information System, a nationwide management system designed to unite the corporate-owned gyms and franchisees. In 2004, Skeen and his partners sold GGI for $158 million and then he founded Titan Management Solutions, a national consulting firm for Gold's Gyms, which is now part of Titan Fitness.
Mr. Skeen has a Finance degree from Virginia Tech and is married to Laura and has two daughters, Faith and Kathryn.
