Pornography Harms: An Untreated Pandemic Part II
 

EIE President Donna Rice Hughes will be participating in Pornography Harms' second live online pornography harms conference on January 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM EST.  You can watch the conference live here: http://on.fb.me/ghrLxZ  Following the presentations, there will be a short Q&A. You will be able to ask questions live via the chat section and the panelists will try to answer as many as they can. 

Speakers:

  • Bob Peters, President of Morality In Media, Inc, a national organization that works to inform citizens and officials about the harms of pornography and what they can do to through the law to protect their communities. He will present his research about how repeated adult pornography use can lead to child porn use.
  • Donna Rice Hughes, President of Enough Is Enough® (EIE), is an internationally known Internet safety expert and advocate, leading national efforts to protect children from sexual predators and Internet pornography. She will share exclusive Internet Safety 101®SM footage from teens, clinicians and victim advocates sharing about the impact of online pornography on children, along with other key EIE findings on this issue.
  • Patrick Trueman, former Chief of the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Criminal Division, U. S. Department of Justice. During his 32 years as a lawyer, he has litigated cases at all levels of the federal system, including in the United States Supreme Court. He is currently a legal consultant to non-profit organizations on child sexual exploitation, sexual trafficking, pornography, indecency, and related matters. He will explain the need to enforce already existing obscenity laws and how we can do it.
