Great Falls, VA – Donna Rice Hughes, President of Enough Is Enough® issued the following statement regarding President Trump’s Rose Garden speech to re-open the federal government and secure a border wall:

“In today’s remarks, President Trump cited the immediate need for a strong and secure border wall to keep our nation free from human traffickers who are entering our country illegally in areas where there is no wall. He described the horrors of women and children who are ‘tied up…bound, duct tape wrapped around their faces and around their mouths…they can’t even breath…and that problem, because of the internet, is the biggest problem…it’s at the worst level, human trafficking in the history of the world, this is not a United States problem, this is a world problem…’

Enough Is Enough® applauds the president’s efforts to secure our border and pleads with Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle to immediately approve comprehensive immigration reform which includes a barrier of entry at all of our borders in order to stop sex trafficking from entering our nation.”
