Women for Decency--safeguarding home from the intrusion of pornography

 They Need You

Register today at volunteer@womenfordecency.org

Don't worry about being an expert with computers or a wiz with the internet, if you care you qualify. Learn how easy it is to be a Women for Decency volunteer.

Learn to

  • Facilitate Internet Safety training. When people ask for help you'll be able to give them tools, not just frightening statistics. You'll be able to empower parents to install filters, monitor usage, but most importantly, learn how to teach values and give guidance children can accept.
  • Promote White Ribbons Against Pornography Week. Our five day fun and informative program for schools makes it simple for PTAs to teach techniques students can use to be safe in a virtual world.
  • Survey your public library. State laws requires the use of internet filters if a library receives state funds. The one page Library Filter Compliance Survey can be completed in a brief visit to your local library helping you keep libraries a safe place for families.

Training will include lunch for all those attending the morning and afternoon sessions. You will be given materials and tools to serve with confidence and effectiveness. Volunteer to be a District Leader and make a difference in safeguarding children, homes and communities from the growing intrusion of pornography.
