Enough Is Enough®® is pleased to announce our President/CEO Donna Rice Hughes is a finalist for the Excellence in Advocacy Award in the Veteran Practitioner category.

 

Washington, DC - November 18, 2014 Organizers of the Professional Women in Advocacy Conference recently announced that Donna Rice Hughes is a finalist for the Excellence in Advocacy Award in the Veteran Practitioner category. There were 190 total nominees for the awards which judges narrowed down to three finalists in each of the five categories: Excellence in Advocacy in a Federal Campaign; Excellence in Advocacy in a State Campaign; Excellence in Advocacy in a Campaign for Women Serving Women; Excellence in Advocacy by an Up and Coming Practitioner; and Excellence in Advocacy by a Veteran Practitioner. 

 

Donna has been a pioneering leader on the frontlines of the battle to make the Internet safer for children and families since 1994.  She is an Internet safety expert, author, and the Executive Producer of the Emmy award winning Internet Safety 101®® television series currently available on PBS and Comcast Video On Demand.

 

Donna is one of three finalist including Robin Conrad, a partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge Law Firm and Nina Ozlu Tunceli, Chief Counsel of Government and Public Affairs & Executive Director, Americans for the Arts Action Fund. One awardee from each category of finalists will be announced at the Excellence in Advocacy Reception on Thursday, November 20th at 6pm at the Capital Hilton.

 

Judging for the EIA awards is conducted by leadership of the esteemed Bryce Harlow Foundation, an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of professional advocacy and increasing the understanding of the essential role of advocacy in the development of sound public policy.
